The Witch is a New Jersey-Based alternative band based around tension and release. Their sound moves through restrained, melodic passages before rupturing into heaviness and distortion. Balancing high-energy post-hardcore with dense, atmospheric shoegaze textures, and experimental new wave/post punk undertones. Emotionally charged vocals cut through layered guitars and controlled noise, often escalating into belting peaks that feel simultaneously chaotic and triumphant.
