"Fuel for The Modern Coven"

The Witch is a New Jersey-based alternative group blending melodic, hook-driven songwriting with heavy, distorted instrumentation and hard-hitting rhythmic drive. Drawing from high-energy post-hardcore, atmospheric shoegaze, and new wave/post punk undertones, the band balances beauty and abrasion within tightly structured songs. 

Starting in 2020, The Witch has performed extensively throughout the New Jersey and New York area, cultivating a strong and growing regional following. 

In 2023, the band recorded their debut full-length album, Everything That Has Happened, Now, released in February 2024. The record has generated steady traction, with their debut single “18” surpassing 25,000 streams, and additional tracks including “Glass,” “Trying To Understand,” and “May” each exceeding 3,000 streams.

Following the album's release, The Witch received national radio promotion and specialty show coverage, including spins on SiriusXM Underground Garage (“Blue”) and KBUU in Malibu, CA (“Everyday Is A Saturday (For A Dog)”), along with airplay across ten additional specialty stations nationwide. 

Their newest single, “When You’re Not Here,” released in October 2025, has already surpassed 2,000 Spotify streams and received press coverage from KindaCool Magazine, which described the track as “a danceable and emotional track perfect for a pregame playlist or as the soundtrack to your fall and winter months.”
